The quality of the movies is fine and you can opt for higher or lower quality downloads. The video caps are what you would expect, not too brilliant.

In terms of Bear content there are only nine movies and video cap galleries. But, you get a lot more content in the many bonus sites that you can also access – there may be some more bears in there.

There is an update page with news on what’s new, but no dates are posted so you will have to keep an eye out for new content.

You won’t have trouble finding any of the sites you want to view as they are linked in sequence from the top of the page. There are also category lists on the main page. Galleries don’t have ‘home’ buttons and new sites open in new windows.

If you are looking for only bear action then this site might disappoint, though there are some more older and hairy guys in the other bonus sites. But for a collection of many genres you get good value for money.

Full Bear Movies Review
My first impression is that the fur has worn a little thin here. If you are a bear aficionado and want a site that is totally dedicated to the older, hairier guy complete with the checked shirt, jeans and moustache, then you won’t be happy with the content here. But if you are a jack of all trades and like a bit of everything then you will get excellent value for money from this large network of varied sites.
So, on to the collection of Bear Movies. You’ll find these, when you first log in, by clicking the title of the site which you will see above the category list. It won’t take you long to get through them as there are only nine and you may take issue with some of the ‘bears’ appearing in them. One, for example, features what I would call a twink and a guy who happens to have long hair and a beard; the men in this episode are even introduced to you as ‘college guys’. Where are the chubby chaps and the really furry men? There’s one in a glory hole scene on page two and a nice trio on page one where they have the build of bears but not really the fur.
The movies are easy enough to run; you can download them in two qualities of MWV files and stream the same; you can also stream a Flash version.

Image sizes are 320 x 236 playing at 331kbps for the lower quality versions, and 720 x 528 @ 2.04 Mbs in the larger ones. There are no DRM restrictions, which is good news and each one comes with a set of video caps, which isn’t such good news. These are small and not always in focus, there are no large, digital, images to view.
After being disappointed with the bear content I decided to have a look at the network sites and see if I could find any bears hiding in some of the 96 sites that you can access with your membership. I closed my Bear Movies window to reveal the main home page behind it (each time you open a site you open a new widow), and had a look through the list of sites, using their screen-cap as a guide to who might be lurking inside. Actually it didn’t take long to track down five other bear sites. Bears and Boys had a few more hairy hunks as did ‘Bears, polar bears and cubs’, including military and leather guys in the hardcore action scenes.

You can also look at Older Bear Movies and Fur Balls; be patient, pages can take time to load as there are loads of images on each one.
After sifting through the additional bear content I saw I still came away thinking that, to qualify as a bear, you only need to be older than a twink and have a smattering of chest hair, or hairy legs, or be a typical hunk, or a jock, or… well, anyone who isn’t a twink really. Like I said at the top, this isn't a place for bear site specialists, this is a mix of everything and the real bears must be hiding in the woods.
