Quality is mixed with low resolution videos and DVD quality ones. Images are screen caps and digital shots. He models are varied too but tend towards the ‘amateur’ and ‘ordinary’ in looks.

There are only 54 photo sets and 52 videos here which may keep you going for a month of two. The galleries have a good number of images in them though many are low quality screen caps.
Updates: 3/10
The most recent update was 10 days before my visit and the next content was ‘coming soon.’ There are no dates posted with the video content and comments in the members’ forum suggest that updates are not regular. The most recently dated photo set was July 2007.

The design is simple to the point of being amateurish and the main pages operate in frames. Navigation is easy enough though there is no navigating through individual images, it’s open and close all the way.
Speed: 7/10
Download speed was 72kbps which isn’t dreadful; file sizes are around the 100 to 200Mb mark.
Value: 4/10
Nearly 29 euros is a lot to pay for a collection of home made content and a site that doesn’t seem to be getting updated or looked after. Check it out via the trial offer.

This could well be the site that time forgot. As I was checking out the content I called in to the members’ forum and was interested to see a post titled ‘is this site closing?’ On further examination it turned out that a member was wondering what was happening with the site as there had not been any updates for some time. Another member agreed and the admin (the forum/site administrator I assume) simply replied that the site was working. Not exactly the best customer care in the world.
So I checked the dates that were posted with the photos and saw that the last update was made 17 months prior to my visit. It’s not looking good. The Last Updates page, which is your home page, said that something was added only a few days before my visit so I can only assume that was a video. The next update to look forward to was ‘coming soon’ which doesn’t help anyone and the videos weren’t dated so it’s anyone’s guess as to what might be added to the site during the life of your membership.
The best way to approach Martin’s Life is to look on it as a collection of unique videos that you may want to download and that you can keep.

I doubt that anyone would stay a member for very long, especially if the updates don’t happen, but at least you will be able to get some intergenerational videos that are exclusive and that come in two qualities. The DVD quality one’s are pretty good for quality so that’s a saving grace at least. But watch out. A couple I tried were DivX and even with the latest version/installation they wouldn't play.
The images are a mixed bag of screen caps and digital shots and are a bit hit and miss in the quality department, but again they are exclusive and original. The models are a mix too, with some twinks being young and sexy, others being plain and ordinary and the older guys who have their fun with them being, well, older. I wasn’t too sure what the aim of the site was but got the impression that a couple of dirty old men had found a way to get laid and have their twinks; presumably they paid them for their performances and then made the movies as a way of legitimising the process.

But still, some more attention to detail, some more content, regular updates and so on would real help lift it from down where it is now.
